MEMBER ALERT – Morning of Tuesday July 8 On the evening of Monday July 7 we are making a crucial overnight upgrade to our hot water boiler. We have planned for all work to occur overnight to avoid disruption of hot water throughout the Club. Please be aware there is a slight possibility that we may have a disruption to our hot water during the morning hours of operation on Tuesday, July 8. Feel free to utilize the FFC Old Town Facility during the possible interruption. Continual Improvement FFC Gold Coast prides itself on continually investing back into the Club. Summer has now officially begun with the opening of FFC Gold Coast’s NEW rooftop sundeck. We are excited to partner with Christy Webber & Associates as we design an exciting new addition to the club. The main components include a modular deck made of recycled materials, a waterfall feature including a wading pool, chaise lounge area, built in group seating areas, and a concession area. Large areas of drought tolerant perennial plants along with trees, flowers and prairie grasses will complete the landscaping. Additional landscaping will be occurring in Mid August, just in time for our official Grand Opening Party on August 21 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. (Stay tuned for more info).
Gold Coast Moving Towards Green 
Around the globe, businesses and municipalities are responding, in ways both large and small, to the environmental imperative to reduce their carbon emissions by adopting greener, cleaner, more energy-efficient practices…FFC Gold Coast is no exception. As energy costs continue to rise—they have more than doubled since 2000—we are constantly searching for innovative strategies to reduce the amount of waste we generate; conserve water and other precious resources; recycle materials whenever possible; eliminate the use of toxic chemicals in our operations; and convert to energy-efficient lighting, heating/cooling systems, etc., and renewable energy sources.

Join in on the fun and we’ll have you gliding across the floor in no time! Today’s hottest dance is a combination of Waltz, Foxtrot, Swing, Rumba, Cha Cha & Salsa. Learn it all. Everyone starts from square on and no partner is needed. Instructor Kathy Brown has been teaching for over 20 years. She was recently voted as Chicago’s Best dance instructor by Windy City Magazine as well as honored as one of the “100 Most Influential Women In Chicago” by Today’s Chicago Woman.
